RE: New Ford incentives....$19,000 off MSRP!

Carefull on some of them. Had a place offering vehicles for under $10 grand, it ended up being a 2 year lease for under $10 grand. After the lease is up you still owe the balance or turn it in.

RE: Winnebago windsheild fans

I have an overhead TV and installed my backup monitor and two fans under the TV and mine don't shake at all. If your dash and overhead are always shaking you may want to check out the front end and tires. Tires may be out of balance or may have too much air in them for the weight.

RE: Digital TV Converter voltage

Don't know about the others, but i picked up an RCA DTA-800 from Walmart($9.00 with coupon). Opened it up to check and see if i can convert it to 12volt operation and it can. The AC power supply plugs into the converter board with a 4 pin connector and the output of the power supply is 12VDC, the outer two pins are ground or negitave and the inner two pins are 12.18VDC. Now to make an adapter cable to run on just 12vdc.

RE: Winnebago lighting problem.

On my 95 Brave they all go back to the converter and then through the floor and are then bolted to the frame.

RE: transmission problems (I think)

First thing to due is check the trans fluid, pull the dip stick, check the color and check to see if it has a burned smell to it. Also it could be your fan locking up. Have a 99Dodge van that started acting the same way when pulling our trailer, added a couple electric fans to the radiator and it stopped.

RE: Power tugs

I have seen some in the back of Motorhome or Trailer Life mag. that plugs into 120VAC, might be cheaper than 12 or 24vdc units.

RE: experience with Geico rv insurance?

I've had Geico for over 20 years and have had no problems or rate increaes. 13 years with trailers and RV. Checked a couple months ago with other insurance companies and rates came back $500 to $700 more every 6 months. I'll stick with GEICO.

RE: 1993 Bounder question

My 95 will run one air while on shore power, but will run both at the same time while on genny. My front/rear a/c switch has to be in the front position to run both while on genny.

RE: Chevy transmission problem

why via PM ? might the rest of us not benefit from a little more knowledge ?
\
The reason he does it this way is because of soo many versions of Autopark. He can work with the individual on his particular model and he dosen't have to worry about someone else trying to fix theirs with his instructions for another version and then when it doesn't work have them b!$%h and blame him because theirs is broken worse.

No wonder the dogs were cooking up there!
So how did the dog meat taste? :B

RE: water in the drivers foot well of a minnie winnie

Give us the year and chassis and we may be able to give you some pointers on where to look.
You may have to lift the carpet and look for a hole plug that maybe broken, missing, or leaking.

RE: Hope this isn't a sign of things to come

Two boo-boos on the first trip. Backing out of the yard, watching for the corner of the house and backed right into the tree(small dent in corner metal). Came back from the trip, started driving into back yard, remembered the tree( missed it)but forgot about the corner of the house, scrapped the awning cover on the corner(no damage to either). Next day the tree was gone(wife not happy it was a datenut tree).

RE: HHO Generator Good or Bad?

I pose this question to you.
Did the almighty insert some loopholes into the Laws of Thermodynamics to allow a few creative entrepreneurs the ability to increase your vehicles MPG with these gizmos?
Yes, It's called brains. :S

RE: Vacuum gague???

I put both a vacuum gauge and tach in my 95 Brave. To get proper readings you have to tap off the intake manifold not the throttle body. I get my best mileage at 20 in of vacuum and around 2500rpm. Speed is 60-65 mph and get 9-10mpg depending on road and wind. My 95 only has an OBD1 port.

RE: HHO Generator Good or Bad?

Keep an open mind to this technology. I have seen the car a gentleman built an HHO generator for, it is over at SouthWest Research Center in San Antonio being tested. It does not run on pure HHO, the HHO is injected into the air going into the carb(throttle body) and is mixed with the gas in the cylinder.
